THURSDAY 01 JUNE 2017 – Welcome to the UK & The Isle of Man!

On arrival at Manchester Airport you are required to make your way to the Arrivals Hall where you will be met by a Sportsnet host holding a Sportsnet sign. You will be guided to a coach for your transfer from Manchester Airport to Liverpool Pier Head Ferry Terminal – Pier Head, Off St Nicholas Place, Princes Parade, Liverpool, L3 1DL.

As your Isle of Man sailing won’t be departing until this evening, the afternoon is yours to explore Liverpool – birthplace of The Beatles! For an introduction to Liverpool we have included a ticket to Liverpool’s latest and most popular attraction “the Wheel of Liverpool”, so that you can begin exploring this marvellous city. At an awe-inspiring 196ft (60m) the Wheel of Liverpool offers stunning panoramic views of the city’s famous landmarks and is located within walking distance from the ferry terminal.

Sportsnet Holidays Hot Tip: If you are hungry for some Beatles history head straight to the Cavern Pub and purchase a hot meal and a pint, while you rest and unwind in an iconic Liverpool pub where the Beatles musical identity was formed.

Your sailing to the Isle of Man will depart Liverpool Pier Head Ferry Terminal that evening and arrive at the Isle of Man Sea Terminal. On arrival, collect your luggage and make your way to the car park where your coach transfer to the hotel will be waiting.

FRIDAY 02 JUNE 2017 – Lap of TT course with TT Rider, Evening Practice and Welcome Dinner

Breakfast at the hotel.

Enjoy a brilliant introduction to the Isle of Man with a coach tour around the course including live commentary and insights en route from TT Rider Cameron Donald and guest.

The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Tonight, meet in the Palace Hotel reception for your transfer to the Evening Practice session. Here you will enjoy the evening’s final practice session unfold from the Official VIP Suite which includes a VIP Grandstand ticket, Start Line Pass, buffet dinner, beer, wine and soft drinks (served with dinner). You will also have the opportunity to meet some special guests and mingle with fellow tour participants. Please note that drinks are only included during dinner and for the remainder of the evening, you will have the opportunity to purchase drinks from the cash bar.

After dinner, you can choose to transfer back to the hotel or enjoy the evening entertainment on Douglas promenade.

SATURDAY 03 JUNE 2017 – Race Day 1 – Superbike & Sidecar – Nobles Park South Grandstand

Coach transfer from your hotel to Nobles Park South Grandstand in Douglas for Race Day 1.

A Nobles Park South Grandstand ticket is included today. In Noble’s Park South Grandstand the stone wall provides a good low level view of start, finish and riders leaving the pits. You can also get close as the bikes make their way back through the park after finishing. Fans in the Nobles Park Grandstands will be the first to greet the riders as they cross the finish line and ticket holders will get close to the emotions and celebrations associated with a TT win.

This new grandstand in Noble’s Park means even more fans can take advantage of the food outlets and easy access to the paddock, whilst enjoying a great view of the action too!

At the conclusion of the race, transfer back to the hotel. Your return transfer time and meeting place will be arranged in the morning and advised by your Sportsnet host.

Tonight, meet in the Palace Hotel reception for your transfer to the “Sportsnet TT Riders Panel”. Sportsnet will take over the exclusive VIP Hospitality Suite for our annual TT Riders Panel. Hosted by the voice of TT Charlie Williams, this fun event will showcase entertaining interviews with past & present stars, as well as the opportunity to ask questions yourself and grab an autograph & a photo – away from the general public! Last year we were joined by our ambassador Cam Donald along with McGuinness, Hutchinson, Anstey, Hillier and Johnson (what a line-up!) and we think they will be back for more this year! A hearty buffet dinner and beverages will be served as well as music and a great atmosphere you don’t want to miss out on!

SUNDAY 04 JUNE 2017 – Free Day (Mad Sunday)

Today is at your leisure to explore and do as you feel.

Mad Sunday is something that is free to all those on the Isle of Man. It is time when fans get the chance to ride the same 37.75-mile mountain course as those actually competing in the races. It takes place on the circuit and there is plenty going on all over the island.

The optional Peel Day trip using local transport is highly recommended. Peel is a popular seaside destination on the West coast located approximately 18kms from Douglas. It has narrow streets of fishermen’s cottages, a Victorian promenade and its most popular attraction is the 11th-Century Castle.

Utilise your 7 Day “GO Explore Pass” which includes unlimited transport on any of the islands buses, electric trams, horse trams or steam trains. It is available 24/7 for 7 days and you can hop on or off at any time.

MONDAY 05 JUNE 2017 – Race Day 2 – Supersport & Superstock – Creg Ny Baa VIP Hospitality

Coach transfer from your hotel to Creg Ny Baa Pub which is situated 3 miles north of Douglas on the A18 Mountain Road. This is one of the best vantage points on the circuit for Race Day 2.

Treat yourself to the spectacular viewing from elevated balconies at the most famous landmark on the course, Creg Ny Baa Pub. As one of the privileged few, you will enjoy spectacular views of race action from our first floor balcony. Watch riders approach from Kate’s, negotiate Creg Corner and accelerate up to 200mph towards Brandish.

Please note a buffet lunch with beer, wine and soft drinks is included. You will have access to a cash bar to purchase other drinks throughout the day. Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival.

The return transfer will leave the Creg once roads have been reopened. This could be an hour after racing depending on how fast they can open 38 miles of road. You are advised to go back to the coach once racing has concluded as it could depart at any time.

TUESDAY 06 JUNE 2017 – Free Day (Ramsey Sprint)

Today is a free day to explore the Isle of Man.

A visit to the Ramsey Sprint is highly recommended using the Manx Electric railway from Douglas where any tram can be used utilising your 7 Day “GO Explore Pass”.

The Ramsey Sprint is a drag sprint event over a 1/8th mile strip which attracts thousands. Anyone can compete, as long as they are willing to pay the entry fee. Motorcycles from all over the world enter, most already over as part of the TT Festival. Some bikes have special modifications, which certainly keeps things interesting. There is lots of action, exhibits and entertainment to be seen and since the event is all day, getting a good view is not hard.

You are free to return to Douglas at any time using your 7 Day “GO Explore Pass”.

WEDNESDAY 7 JUNE 2017 – Race Day 3 – Supersport, Sidecar & TT Zero – Churchtown

Coach transfer from your hotel to Churchtown for Race Day 3.

Churchtown is becoming a favourite with TT fans due to its very fast bends and bumps which fires bikes into the air! If you have watched the TT on television, this is a favourite part of the course for the slow motion camera.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day, however alcohol is not available so you will need to BYO! Please note this is a remote part of the course, so ensure you are well prepared for the entire day by bringing your Sportsnet camping chair, poncho and snacks!

At the conclusion of the race, transfer back to the hotel. Your return transfer time and meeting place will be arranged in the morning and advised by your Sportsnet host.

THURSDAY 08 JUNE 2017 – Laxey TT Motorcycle Show

A one way coach transfer from your hotel to Laxey for the Laxey Motorcycle Show.

Laxey is around 20 minutes away from Douglas and the annual TT Motorcycle Show takes place in the village where bikes of all types are on display. From its inception in 2007 it has proved to be a much needed and welcomed event that compliments the TT races.

It is essentially a motorcycle show run by bikers, for bikers, and of course those interested in the diverse nature of motorcycling on the Isle of Man. The organisers have gone to great lengths to ensure that the show is not just a pass through event.

You are free to return to Douglas at any time using your 7 Day “GO Explore Pass” to travel by bus or the electric tram which is a must do.

FRIDAY 9 JUNE 2017 – Race Day 4 – Lightweight & Senior TT – Kirk Michael

Today we head to Kirk Michael for all the action of Race Day 4!

Coach transfer from your hotel to Kirk Michael.

Kirk Michael is a favourite with TT fans due to its very fast corner. The bikes come out of the village and race off towards Rhencullen and due to the slight crest in the road it fires the bikes into the air! It is a famous spot with incredible spectator viewing.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day, however alcohol is not available so you will need to BYO! Please note this is a remote part of the course, so ensure you are well prepared for the entire day including bringing your Sportsnet camping chair, poncho and snacks!

At the conclusion of the race, transfer back to the hotel with the remainder of the evening at leisure. Your return transfer time and meeting place will be arranged in the morning and advised by your Sportsnet host.

Later this evening, join your fellow Sportsnet travellers for a couple of farewell drinks at the hotel Casino.

There will be entertainment and fireworks on the Promenade tonight to close the TT which can be viewed from outside the hotel.

This morning you depart the Isle of Man and sail to Heysham Port and Ferry Terminal – South Quay, Heysham, Lancashire, LA3 2XE.

On arrival at Heysham Port and Ferry Terminal, collect your luggage and a coach will be waiting to transfer you to Manchester Airport.
