To see how the NRL clubs reacted to the decision to postpone the season you can read more here.

In a statement to Sportsnet Holidays P&O stated:

“The National Rugby League has made no announcement in regards to the 2020 Holden State of Origin competition, however it has suspended the 2020 Telstra NRL Premiership season until further notice. As a result, the 2020 Holden State of Origin cruise will be cancelled.

This decision is consistent with our desire to provide certainty for guests where we can at this point.

Cancelling a cruise is the last thing we would ever want to do but these are extraordinary times and we have no hesitation in putting the health and well-being of our guests, crew and the wider community first. ”

In addition to health issues caused by the pandemic, the economic effects have been felt world-wide. Like the rest of the world, we hope this situation resolves itself soon. More importantly, we hope you and your family are safe and healthy.
