23 Destinations to dream of...
For our 23rd birthday we're revisiting 23 destinations you can look forward to getting back to
Destination #21 | Liverpool, England
Did you know? Liverpool city almost has the highest number of galleries and museums in the UK, it is second only to London.
We often hear that Liverpool is known for it’s culture, but why is that?
Founded in 1207, the city has a rich history that has seen it be called home to many a migrant over the years, this is what makes the city diverse.
We love visiting the home of Liverpool FC, seeing the incredible architecture, the galleries and museums they have to offer.
One of our favourites is The Bluecoat, this stunning contemporary arts centre is found in the oldest standing building in Liverpool.
In the past we have enjoyed popping into the city as a stopover while on route to the Isle of Man, an extended stay meant that we could savour our time while we got ready to enjoy live events like the 2019 Netball World Cup.
It was incredible to see the amount of support shown for the event with over 6.07 millions people in Britain either attending or watching the tournament.
We are obsessed with seeing great competitions like this and we are super keen to return for more exploring and action in the future.
