Destination #3 | Malaysia
Did you know? The Malaysian highway stretches for some 65,877 km (40,934 miles) across the country and connects the major cities.
Malaysia is an interesting destination and is known for having a busy city, charming culture and stunning coastal areas.
One of the most iconic landmarks to see in the are are the Petronas Towers. Standing at 452 metres, the Petronas Twin Towers are amongst the tallest towers in the world.
Just outside Kuala Lumpur you will find the Batu Caves, which is made up of three main caves and a few smaller ones.
These caves will have you witnessing the most sacred Hindu location in the country, as well as limestone caves that are a whopping 400 million years old.
If you want to embrace more a scenic side of the country, you will not be disappointed by the Cameron Highlands. From hiking trails, strawberry farms, tea estates and waterfalls, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.
When you feel that you need your sporting fix, the Malaysia MotoGP™ has you covered. The race is held at the Sepang International Circuit which is roughly 45km south of Kuala Lumpar.
This is one of the great MotoGP™ races, at the pointy end of the season, it’s one we always want to get to.
