The Sportsnet® Super Suite at Melbourne Park

Melbourne Park is a multi-sport precinct on the edge of the city and one of Australia's most sophisticated sporting complexes. Incorporating Rod Laver Arena, John Cain Arena, Margaret Court Arena, Kia Arena as well as more than a dozen show courts, the precinct hosts numerous sporting and entertainment events throughout the year, but none more famous than the first Grand Slam of the year - the Australian Open.

Within Melbourne Park's John Cain Arena, Sportsnet proudly operate our Australian Open Super Suite each year. Sportsnet's Super Suite is an exclusive private viewing area located behind the baseline, including air-conditioning, private bathrooms, stylish furniture and a bar to purchase food and beverages away from the crowds. The suite consists of a comfortable seating area behind glass with great views of the court, as well as a private balcony with seats overlooking the court to immerse yourself in the famous John Cain Arena atmosphere!

Additional Information

Opening hours: From 10:30am until the end of the day’s play 

Location: Access via lift 2 on the Ground Floor of John Cain Arena (Olympic Boulevard side of the stadium) 

The closest entrance to the Sportsnet Super Suite is the Grand Slam Oval Entrance. If you are travelling via tram the best entrance points are the Garden Square Entrance and Richmond Entrance. 

Please note: Food and drink from the bar within the Super Suite is available for purchase and is not complimentary with your ticket.

Travelling by tram 

Travelling to City Entrance    

For patrons travelling to City Entrance, we recommend you take the Route 70 or Route 70a trams to Stop 7A William Barak Bridge then walk to City Entrance.  

Travelling to Garden Square Entrance    

For patrons travelling to Garden Square Entrance your best options are to take the Route 70 or Route 70a trams to Stop 7B Rod Laver Arena/MCG gates 1-3.  

Travelling to Richmond Entrance    

Patrons travelling to Richmond Entrance should only take Route 70 Tram to Stop 7D Olympic Boulevard.

Travelling by rideshare 

There are designated rideshare pick-up locations outside John Cain Arena along Olympic Boulevard, and further along Olympic Boulevard in front of the outdoor courts near Richmond Entrance. 

 

Travelling by taxi 

A taxi rank is located on Olympic Boulevard, adjacent to Grand Slam Oval. This is for use by taxi vehicles only. Patrons exiting via City Entrance (Birrarung Marr) can utilise the taxi rank located at Flinders Street Station.
