Q. What is included in my room?
A. The bedding consists of 1 Double bed that can be converted into 2x single beds and includes an ensuite, wardrobe, mini-bar, interactive TV, safe, hairdryer, air-conditioning and telephone.
Q. Are there cabins for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility?
A. Yes. Wheelchair accessible cabins should be requested at the time of booking.
Check-in and Embarkation
Q. Where does my cruise depart from?
A. Marseille, France. Please check your e-ticket for the departure port information.
Q. What time can I check-in for my cruise?
A. You will be provided with your assigned check-in time on your cruise e-ticket. It is recommended to arrive no earlier than your assigned check-in time to avoid congestion at the port as you will also not be guaranteed an earlier check in time.
Q. What is the latest time I can check-in for my cruise?
A. Check-in will close two and a half hours before the ship is scheduled to depart.
Q. Do I need luggage tags?
A. Baggage tags are provided with your e-documentation and it is recommended to add these to your luggage prior to your arrival at the departure port.
Q. What time can I expect to disembark the ship?
A. Disembarkation is staggered and begins approximately 30 minutes after the ship arrives in port. You will be provided information regarding the disembarkation process on the final night of your cruise. Disembarkation is usually completed within three hours of arriving into port.
Flights & Transfers
Q. I am booking my own flights, what arrival and departure times do you recommend?
A. Sportsnet recommends being in Marseille at least six (6) hours prior to the cruise departure time. To avoid any issues with flight delays or similar, you may choose to book a pre-night in Marseille.
Q. Can I book transfers from the airport to the cruise terminal through Sportsnet?
Luggage, Clothes and Electrical
Q. How much luggage can I bring?
A. Please check your e-ticket for up-to-date luggage limits, however two pieces of luggage per person is generally accepted.
Q. What do I wear onboard?
A. During the day, casual clothes are suitable. For an informal evening, the dress code is smart casual. For formal evenings, a cocktail dress for ladies and a lightweight or dark suit or dinner jacket for the men is recommended. There are at least 2-3 formal evenings per cruise. Throughout the cruise (day or night) there maybe theme parties, including 60s, floral, white or Italian parties. Dressing in theme is NOT compulsory. Please note there are no shops onboard to purchase, make or hire theme costumes or dinner suits. The dress of the day is published in the Daily Program.
Q. What type of electrical sockets are onboard?
A. Electricity on board all ships is supplied at a voltage of 110V/220V 60 cycles AC in the cabins. International adaptors including European, Asia, Japan and USA are recommended to be taken with you as only a limited supply are available from the Information Office.
Q. Can I bring electrical appliances with me?
A. The only electrical appliances permitted in cabins are electric shavers, hairdryers, battery chargers and computers. Heat-generating devices including irons & hair irons, electric kettles, bottle warmers, electric blankets etc are not permitted onboard.
Medical, Dietary and Special Requirements
Q. Do I need to advise MSC Cruises of my medical condition or issues with mobility?
A. MSC Cruises should be informed of all special needs via a Special Needs Form that you consultant can provide. You may be required to provide a medical certificate to confirm you are fit to travel. It is also recommended to carry a list of medicines and pack these in your carry-on luggage.
Q. Can I bring my medical equipment to use onboard?
A. Unless the Carrier agrees otherwise and in writing, passengers are limited to bringing two (2) items of such mobility or medical equipment onboard per cabin with a total value not exceeding EUR2,200. All equipment must be capable of being carried safely and must be declared before the cruise.
Q. Do you cater for special dietary requirements onboard?
A. Any food allergies or special dietary requirements must be advised in as much detail as possible at the time of your cruise booking. Once onboard, it is recommended you speak with the Maître d’hôtel who will be able to confirm your requirements. Please note, not all dietary requests are able to be accommodated onboard.
Q. Do you cater for guests with disabilities?
A. Yes, MSC Cruises and its staff are constantly striving to provide the best service possible for all guests, including those of reduced mobility or disabilities. All decks and public areas of the ship are accessible to guests with reduced mobility.
Q. Can I cruise whilst pregnant?
A. Due to inadequate medical facilities and equipment for childbirth, MSC Cruises will not accept a booking for a guest who will be 24 weeks pregnant or more by the end of the cruise. Pregnant women are requested to seek medical advice before travelling and must obtain a medical certificate confirming they are fit to travel.

A. Onboard purchases are made with your cruise card that you will receive on embarkation, eliminating the need to carry cash or credit cards. Cash deposits can be made or a credit card can be registered to the cruise card at any time throughout your cruise.

Q. Are transfers included from my hotel to the event? If so, what type?
A. Return rail transfers are included from Nice Train Station to Monaco Train Station. You will have to make your own way from your hotel to the train station and the train station to the circuit.
