The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the ultimate weekend for anyone that is passionate about anything automotive. From sports cars to race cars, to concept cars, to motorbikes, to trucks, to … well, you get the idea – there’s a lot of things with engines and wheels! Staged over a weekend in June on the grounds of Goodwood House in Sussex, England, the Goodwood Festival of Speed originally started as a hill climb event for historic motor racing vehicles. Today though, it plays host to a multitude of events.
The theme for the 2016 Festival of Speed will be “Full Throttle – The Endless Pursuit of Power”! It promises to be a display of the very best competition cars and bikes the world has to offer. The Festival will also celebrate the anniversaries of both James Hunt’s 1976 Formula 1 World Championship victory and the 100th running of the Indy 500! Along with these amazing milestones, the Festival will – as it always does – showcase newest models and most exciting concept cars from the world’s leading manufacturers!
