In a rare instance, Apple got this one wrong.

Already being an industry leader in the fitness technology sector, Apple tested the waters of luxury with a product variation of their popular Apple Watch.

The new look luxurious Apple Watch design featured an 18-karat gold plate and began at retail price of $10,000!

After a promising first 2 weeks of sales, the 18-karat gold Apple Watch sales declined at a rapid rate, causing the new product to flop, suggesting sweat and an 18-karat gold fitness watch just don’t mix!

4. Louis Vuitton Punching Bag

Ever wondered what a luxurious punching bag looks like, how much it would cost and who would own one?

Here’s your answer, it’s covered in Louis Vuitton branding, weighing in at a heavyweight total of $175,000 USD and most likely Floyd Mayweather!

The Louis Vuitton Punching Bag was designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 2014 and is known to be the most expensive and luxurious “Punching Bag” ever for Louis Vuitton.

However, this isn’t the first time Louis Vuitton have put up their dukes and tapped into the boxing world.

In 2012, Louis Vuitton put together a campaign with boxing great Muhammed Ali.

The campaign featured Ali with a classic Louis Vuitton bag packed for the gym.

The Karl Lagerfeld punching bag and stand came packaged in a Boxing Trunk while a seperate suitcase contained a pair a Louis Vuitton boxing gloves and a mat to match.

Special heritage details combined with vintage cowhide trim and brass hardware confirmed it quality, while it’s exclusivity of only 25 ever made were sure to get big spenders over the line for a must have collector’s piece in the home gym!

5. Bowflex Selecttech Dumbbells

The Bowflex is not your average dumbbell, it’s intelligence leverages it to be a cut above.

With a not so cheap price tag of $5,800 you must be curious about it’s luxury features?!

The Bowflex dictates the weight you’re lifting through the switch of a dial ensuring your days of going back and forth the dumbbell rack are no more.

This special feature enables the user to go from 4-41kg on the one dumbbell, talk about convenience.
