1.Rottnest Island

Rottnest Island has to be one of the most diverse of the snorkelling spots. Not only do you get to snorkel, you have a choice of 19 beaches to choose from! With  Busselton Jetty having the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, that is exactly what you will be able to do! Although this is an amazing experience, you have to experience the vivid colourful underwater world that Busselton has to offer. The depth is 8 metres, which makes this perfect for all level divers.

3.Mettams Pool

One of the more popular destinations, Mettams pool is for all levels of divers. The bay is sheltered by a ring of shallow outcrops, within which lies a treasure trove of aquatic life. The pool is sheltered from strong currents making it perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy a swim together.

4.Penguin Island

At Penguin Island you can expect to see some adorable seals and dolphins as they frequent the island. If  you’re lucky enough you may also even see sea lions and/or fairy penguins taking a casual dip as well!.

5.Ningaloo Reef

Ningaloo Reef is home to the gigantic whale shark, the the largest fish in the world. The 260km reef itself  is located in Northwest Cape halfway up WA.  There are 250 coral species and 500 different wildlife that can be found at Ningaloo Reef. Albany consists of picturesque landscapes, white beaches and historic buildings. There’s almost too much to see in Albany, but there are three ‘musts’ you’ll need to check out. The first is The Gap and Natural Bridges and be sure to get your camera ready as there will definitely be a picture worth posting on Facebook or Instagram (don’t forget to tag us with #sportsnetholidays!). The next ‘must’ is heading over to the Natural Anzac Centre where you will have a breathtaking view of where 41,000 men departed for the Great War. The last ‘must’ is, Australia’s first Whisky distillery, Limeburners, this is almost worth the drive itself.

A waterfall unlike any other!  Unlike most waterfalls that run down vertically, this waterfall runs horizontally, giving the illusion the water is spilling across the bay’s surface.  It’s no wonder it’s considered as one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. The Horizontal waterfall can be located in the pristine Talbot Bay in the Buccaneer Archipelago and can experienced either by flying or speed boat(!). This one is certainly a can’t miss if you’re visiting WA!
