SUNDAY 16 JULY 2017 – Day 1 – Stage 15: Laissac-Severac l’Eglise – Le Puy-en-Velay, 189km

Welcome to the final exciting week of the Tour de France in the Alps! Staff will be on ground to meet you in Grenoble and transfer you to your nearby hotel.

After checking in and getting settled you will spend some time with the staff getting your bike prepared and ready before heading for an easy ride to stretch the legs.

If there is time you will watch the final kilometres of today’s Tour stage, before heading to dinner as a group where you will discuss your week ahead in more detail and be briefed on your ride in the morning.

Today’s ride:- 30/40km, easy warm up.

MONDAY 17 JULY 2017 – Day 2 – TDF Rest Day

A Cycling pilgramage! Cyclists from all across the world travel to climb this mythical mountain! This morning it is you turn!

After breakfast you will be transferred a sort distance to the start of the ride. You will ride along the valley floor until the town of Bourg d’Oisans where you will turn left and begin the 14km climb and 21 hairpin turns of Alpe d’Huez. You will climb all the way to the top, passing the Fausto Coppi monument just before the end of the climb.

Once at the top you will enjoy some lunch, following this you will have the option for some more riding, or if your legs are done after the morning, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Today’s ride:- 80km difficult mountain, Alpe d’Huez.

TUESDAY 18 JULY 2017 – Day 3 – Stage 16: Le Puy-en-Velay – Romans -sur-Isere, 165km

Today the Tour riders are fresh from the rest day and will make their way towards the Alps. You will be making you way west from the hotel towards the finish town of today’s stage.

Stopping for a coffee and a croissant on the way and it is there where you will get on your bike and head towards the official race route.

At the mid point of the ride you will be linking up with the official Tour de France course and following the official signs under the flemme rouge and across the official finish line. Stopping for a photo on the official podium before freshening up, you will then be making your way into the VIP hospitality just metres from the finish line to see the pros race for a stage win.

Following the conclusion of today’s stage you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Today’s ride:- 60km rolling hills, including crossing the official finish line.

WEDNESDAY 19 JULY 2017 – Day 4 – Stage 17: La Mure – Serre Chavalier, 183km

Another exciting days viewing of the Tour awaits you as the race makes its way into the Alps, passing over the Col d’Onan, Col de Telegraphe and the Galibier before a fast descent to the finish line in Serre-Chevalier. Tour favorites Chris Froome and Nairo Quintana will see this as a decisive stage in the battle for the yellow jersey!

After breakfast you will commence your ride, joining the official course before stopping on the side of the road for a picnic lunch and to see the caravan and peloton pass.

It is then a short drive south to a chateau for the next few nights, where you will check in and enjoy dinner as a group. Tomorrow is an exciting stage, touted as the queen stage of this year’s Tour!

Today’s Ride:- 60km including medium mountain climb.

THURSDAY 20 JULY 2017 – Day 5 – Stage 18: Briancon – Izoard, 178km

Today marks the queen stage of this year’s tour, a summit finish atop the Col d’Izoard. You won’t miss any of the action of this stage as you are taken to the Relais Etape hospitality, le Tours premium hospitality location alongside the course.

Heading for a ride after breakfast and joining up to the official course for today’s stage. Finishing up at the hospitality destination for the afternoon, you will be greeted with champagne and a delicious three course lunch. Enjoy all the live action of the stage on the big screen through the live broadcast, be entertained by former Tour de France personalities before heading roadside to see the race pass!

You will be transferred back to the chateau, where you will have the evening to relax after a long and exciting day!

Today’s ride:- 40/50km along official course.

FRIDAY 21 JULY 2017 – Day 6 – Stage 19: Embrun – Salon-de-Provence, 220km

Today’s stage starts in the nearby town of Embrun, where you will have an optional early morning ride to the departure town for today’s stage.

Once you see the race begin you will be transferred back to the hotel where you have the option for a relaxing afternoon in Barcolonette. Alternatively you can jump on the bike and take on the highest paved road in France, the Col de la Bonette.

This evening is your final dinner as a group to reflect on an amazing week before the tour comes to a close in the morning.

Today’s ride:- 40-60km rolling hills/mountain climb to Col de la Bonette.

SATURDAY 22 JULY 2017 – Day 7 – Stage 20: Marseille – Marseille ITT, 23km

Unfortunately the tour comes to a close this morning. After breakfast check out of the hotel and you will be transferred to Grenoble.
