2020 Formula 1® Vietnam Grand Prix Travel Advice
The 2020 Formula 1® Vietnam Grand Prix, scheduled for the 3rd-5th of April, 2020 has been postponed.
On March 20th, 2020 Sportsnet Holidays was notified that the confirmation of new event dates will be within 1-2 months.
In their statement the event organisers stated:
“…on 13 March 2020, we announced the postponement of the Formula 1 Vinfast Vietnam Grand Prix 2020 in Hanoi due to the ongoing global novel COVID-19 situation. To review the announcement again, please click here.
Please note that the race has been postponed and not cancelled, and that the Hanoi People’s Committee and Vietnam Grand Prix LLC are currently working tirelessly with the F1 Group, the FIA and all relevant parties to find a new date for the race in 2020.”
Once a new date has been set, Sportsnet Holidays will work with all of our global suppliers; event organisers, airlines, cruise companies, hotels and hospitality venues to ensure an amicable outcome can be achieved on behalf of our guests that have been immediately impacted. Our suppliers are individual business entities and hold their own unique policies. The specifics of each travel package will influence the possible outcomes we can achieve for each customer. With thousands of customers and numerous stakeholders around the world involved, we appreciate your patience as we resolve this situation for you individually. To curb the spread of COVID-19 many of our suppliers have gone into government forced isolation; business & economies have halted, slowing the process. We understand that it’s frustrating that we cannot provide a detailed remedy at this time. Know we are engineering the best possible outcome we can for you.
