The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship calendar is here! The season kicks off in February with a thrilling twilight race in Sydney and features 13 rounds in total. Plus, we’re excited to welcome Ipswich back for the first time since 2019!
Key changes for the 2025 Supercars Season
Fans can expect some big changes for the 2025 season! Sydney will now kick off the championship instead of Bathurst, and Sandown has shifted to the second-to-last round.
In exciting news, The Bend Motorsport Park will host its first Supercars endurance race, featuring a 500km event in 2025. This addition was part of last year’s calendar announcement.

2025 Driver changes
Tim Slade is set to retire from full-time competition, with Richie Stanaway taking his place at PremiAir Racing after departing Grove Racing. Meanwhile, 2023 Super2 Series winner Kai Allen will step into Stanaway's role at Grove Racing.
In other changes, Mark Winterbottom will leave Team 18, making way for Anton de Pasquale, who is moving on from Dick Johnson Racing. Brodie Kostecki will replace de Pasquale at Dick Johnson Racing, transitioning from Erebus Motorsport, while Super2 Series graduate Cooper Murray will take Kostecki's spot at Erebus.
2025 Format changes
In 2025, Supercars will introduce a Finals Series to crown the Repco Supercars Champion for the first time!
Fans can look forward to more on-track action with a mix of sprints, traditional race distances, and exciting endurance events, culminating in the Finals Series during the last three rounds of the season.
The year will kick off with a Sprint Cup, transition into the Enduro Cup, and conclude with a three-event Finals Series, where only the top contenders will compete for the championship title.
Where to watch the Supercars 2025 season
Details about the 2025 race formats, television schedule, and support categories - including the Dunlop Series calendar - will be revealed in the coming days, just in time for this year’s Great Race, the Repco Bathurst 1000, at Mount Panorama from October 10-13.
