KEY CHANGES FOR THE 2026 SUPERCARS SEASON
Supercars is set for a landmark 2026 season, with a 14 round Repco Supercars Championship calendar unveiled, the biggest since 2019. The year marks Toyota’s long awaited debut, as the GR Supra joins the grid to take on the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, and the Championship expands its footprint with a historic first race on New Zealand’s South Island.
In a major first, opening day at Sydney Motorsport Park on Friday, 20 February will be free for all fans, giving everyone the chance to witness Toyota’s first ever Supercars race on Australian soil.
The calendar introduces a New Zealand double header in April, with Taupō followed by Christchurch, bringing the action closer to Kiwi fans than ever before. Perth’s event shifts to follow Townsville, refreshing the mid season rhythm, while Tasmania’s May round cements the season’s balanced flow from start to finish.
