The Netball World Cup offers the perfect opportunity to see the best in the world go head-to-head in knock-out competition that will see one nation crowned World Champion! Having won six of the previous seven meetings of the Netball World Cup (and only losing three times in the competition’s history), Australia are firm favourites going into the 2019 competition! Of the three times the Australian team hasn’t won the World Cup, they’ve come runner up to New Zealand on all three occaisions! As if the trans-Tasman rivalry needed more kindling! If Australia come away with another victory, they will have gone won four consecutive Netball World Cups – this has never been achieved in the history of the Tournament!

However, they will still have to face stiff competition from the likes of New Zealand and hosts England, while Malawi, Fiji and Jamaica will also provide interesting challenges to the reigning World Champions. Netball World Cup 2019 will be held in Liverpool, England. We can’t wait to see how Australia fair in the cold weather climates in the north of England!
