LOVE Rugby League? We do! With a history that stretches back to 1895, rugby league came to be after a factional split from the Rugby Football Union (RFU) in England over pay disputes. To differentiate themselves from the RFU, the Australian and New Zealand factions renamed themselves as “Rugby Football Leagues” and eventually, the sport became known as rugby league. Gradually, the game’s rules evolved from those of rugby union to create the faster and more flowing game that we know and love today.

Experience first-hand, what are arguably the three biggest matches on the NRL Calendar. The Holden State of Origin series pits the very best players from New South Wales and Queensland against each other. Origin never fails to produce some of the most exciting and gripping matches as the two states vie for domination and bragging rights.

Join Sportsnet Holidays in Sydney as the season comes to a head at the NRL Grand Final. Soak up the incredible atmosphere in the legendary ANZ Stadium as the NRL’s two best teams battle for glory in-front of 80,000+ screaming fans.

In 2019, we’ll also be heading to the Rugby World Cup which will be hosted in Japan. We can’t wait to see the greatest players from around the world come together to decide league’s greatest nation!

If you’re interested in experiencing either the 2019 Rugby World Cup, the 2018 NRL Grand Final or the 2018 State of Origin LIVE with Sportsnet, please register your interest by completing the Enquiry Form at the bottom of the Package that suits you.
