Arrive Invercargill

Welcome to Invercargill, New Zealand. Make your own way from the airport to The Langlands Hotel.

Tonight, meet your tour leader and fellow travelling companions for some welcome drinks at the Langlands Hotel. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your tour host and share in the excitement with fellow fans before racing begins.

THURSDAY 11 FEBRUARY 2027

NZ Hill Climb Champs and Twilight Drag Racing

The action begins just half an hour south of Invercargill at the legendary Bluff Hill Climb. Experience the engines, the crowd, and the thrill as riders climb to the summit. Photo opportunity at Stirling Point Bluff, famous for its signpost depicting directions and distances to major cities around the world.

While in Bluff, enjoy a guided tour and tasting at Bluff Gin Distillery. Learn how their small-batch gin comes to life, see the distilling process up close, and enjoy a tasting of their signature gin, served alongside a charcuterie board.

This evening, transfer from the Langlands Hotel to the Twilight Drag Racing at Teretonga Park. After the racing, return to the hotel. (B)

FRIDAY 12 FEBRUARY 2027

Indian Motorcycle Beach Racing and NZ Champs

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Indian Motorcycle Beach Racing and NZ Champs at Oreti Beach. Watch the dirt bikes tear up and down the mile-long circuit from your sand dune grandstand position.

After racing is complete, transfer back to the Langlands Hotel. Afternoon and evening at leisure.

You may wish to use your entry ticket to Classic Motorcycle Mecca, with its display of over 300 classic motorcycles, or visit the E Hayes and Sons Hardware Store to see Burt Munro’s authentic 1920 Indian Scout. (B)

SATURDAY 13 FEBRUARY 2027

Super Seller Shelley Speedway

Enjoy a special breakfast at Bill Richardson Transport World, then tour the museum's collection of over 300 vintage vehicles.

In the afternoon, transfer to Oreti Park for the Super Seller Shelley Speedway. Watch the brakeless bikes slide around the dirt from a Curtain Sider Viewing Platform. Enjoy a BBQ meal (burgers and sausages) provided by the local scout group. After the racing, return to the Langlands Hotel. (B, D)

SUNDAY 14 FEBRUARY 2027

E Hayes & Sons Teretonga Sprint Races and NZ Superbike Champs

After breakfast, transfer to Teretonga Park for the final day of competition at the E Hayes and Sons Teretonga Sprint Races and the NZ Superbike Championships. Cold lunch and soft drink provided by the local scout group.

Tonight, gather for a fun and relaxed farewell party with your tour leaders and fellow travellers. Enjoy buffet style pizza and nibbles, three complimentary drinks, and live music to celebrate the end of an unforgettable experience. (B, L, D)

MONDAY 15 FEBRUARY 2027

Farewell Invercargill
