Organisers confirmed the move this week, with the event set to take place on a newly designed Adelaide City circuit as part of a multi‑year agreement with the South Australian government.
Phillip Island has hosted the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix for almost 30 years, earning a reputation as one of the most iconic stops on the world championship calendar. Following the conclusion of negotiations between the event promoters and the Victorian government, South Australia successfully secured a six‑year contract to bring the race to Adelaide starting in 2027.
